Land Rover LRX

Land Rover confirmed the series version of the LRX concept, which is intended to be the smallest, easiest and most efficient model in it's range, confirming the rumors in the British press.

Created and developed in the Gaydon workshops, Land Rover LRX will become the smallest, easiest and most effective member of the British manufacturer's range. The production will be handled by the Halewood plant in Britain, expecting the new product to come in around 100 markets worldwide.

Phil Popham, Land Rover chief executive, said the "decision to give birth to a smaller model in the range is great news for dealers and employees. In addition, feedback from our customers makes us to believe that producing the LRX will increase brand awareness and market penetration rate ", concluded Propham.

Porsche Panamera Cabrio

Germany's Porsche will launch in more than two years a cabrio version of its Panamera. The future will have only two-door convertible instead of four textile and roofing.

Toyota FT-86 Concept

Volkswagen Up !

Future minicar VW Up! will not come before 2011! The announcement was made by a company spokesman in Wolfsburg, leaving to understand that the delay is caused largely by a series of internal problems.
Jochem Heizmann, Volkswagen's production chief, told the magazine Automobilwoche the production of Up! will start after March 2011 and the first models will reach European showrooms towards the end of the same year.

Hot cool cars : Audi e-Tron

It's official! Audi E-Tron has received the green light to go into production. President of Audi America, Johan de Nysschen, said electric vehicle based on the concept of Audi's performance e-Tron will arrive on the market in two or three years. Sporty two-seater was displayed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last month, but then Audi has confirmed plans for production. "I expect to see the first copies of the series running on the streets in 24 months," said Nysschen.

Audi E-Tron is powered by four electric motors, each one placed on each wheel. The producer says the car has a range of 250 km, this being possible with a set of lithium-ion batteries, positioned behind the passenger compartment.

Concept measures 4267 mm long, positioning itself between the Audi TT Roadster and Audi R8 sports. The vehicle was built on the already known Audi specify aluminum structure.

Hot cool cars : Bugatti 16 C Galibier

Bugatti has published a series of images with the new concept Bugatti 16 C Galibier, a vehicle which, surprisingly, will not be exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show but in an exclusive event. The company's chief executive, Franz-Josef Paefgen, describes this model as "the most exclusive, most elegant and most powerful sedan in the world." Bugatti 16 C Galibier is powered by the same 16-cylinder engine, eight-liter, existing on Veyron, but supercharged in two stages. It will develop, probably between 800 and 1000 hp. The car has four-wheel drive and ceramic brakes. Fuel can be supplied with standard gasoline, but ethanol can be used as an alternative.

On the outside, in the front, large headlights with LED technology - in the back four tailpipes on each side. The wings and the doors were made of aluminum and the remaining body is constructed of carbon fiber.

The interior can be characterized in two words: luxury and elegance, wood and leather are the materials used most.

New cool cars : Peugeot RCZ

This two-door car is the first Peugeot series whose name doesn't contain the number 0.
